Bonhommes wants to convey the feeling of carefree living in the quiet, peaceful and natural surroundings of Meigem. In doing so, it makes reference to the Latem School, which is almost just around the corner. The name ‘Bonhommes’ also refers to Rechts van de kerk (‘to the right of the church’), our other business across the street. You can look up its meaning sometime in the history books ...
The Bonhommes logo symbolises a happy man who is enjoying himself, lying on his back taking time to look around and reflect on life. The straw in his mouth and the golden yellow colour refer to a bygone pastoral era ... olden times that make you long for them.
Simply because that is what Bonhommes wants to be: a luxurious event space with lofts that you can rent for your private parties, business meetings, presentations or vernissages. A place where everything happens in total peace and quiet, thanks to impeccable organisation.
The art connoisseurs and art lovers among you will probably notice that the logo incorporates a nod to Constant Permeke.
